Kitten Vaccinations

At Waterview Animal Hospital, our kitten vaccine program begins when your kitten is 6- 8 weeks old. At that time he/she will come in for a complete physical exam, along with their first series of vaccines. We will continue with your kitten’s journey by doing additional vaccines and health exams at 10-12 weeks of age and 14-16 weeks of age. Then your kitten is up to date for 1 year. The information that you will receive from our team during your kitten’s visits will ensure you and your kitten have an excellent start to a wonderful healthy life together.

When should kittens get their first vaccinations?

Our kitten vaccine program begins at 6- 8 weeks old, and continues at 10-12 weeks with the final kitten vaccine visit at 14-16 weeks old.

Does my kitten only need core vaccines?

At Waterview Animal Hospital, your kitten’s health is our top priority. Our core vaccines will protect your kitten from viruses that can make them very sick. Adult cats should continue to be examined on a yearly basis and vaccines will be given based on your cat’s lifestyle.
