Dr. Peter MacKenzie, DVM

I grew up in Charlottetown PEI, while growing up I worked on various farms and after high school I attended UPEI where I acquired a BSC in 1989. During my undergrad degree AVC was being built on the UPEI campus. This New facility was state of the art and offered me an opportunity to continue my education. So I decided to attend AVC and acquired my DVM in 1993.

In 1993 I began working for Miramichi Animal Hospital and in 1994 I began working at both Miramichi Animal Hospital and Riverview Animal Hospital in Moncton. In 1995 I purchased Miramichi Animal Hospital and in 1998 Miramichi Animal Hospital and a neighbouring Clinic, Bushville Animal Hospital merged to form Waterview Animal Hospital.

I enjoy all aspect of Veterinary medicine but have an interest in internal medicine and dermatology.

My first pet was an English Springer Spaniel named Mike.

I enjoy the fact that no two days in veterinary medicine are the same and every day offers new challenges.
